Every project begins with the intended use of the data — measurement, quantity assessment, progress monitoring, inspection or design support. On that basis, we define the appropriate technology, accuracy and deliverable format.
OUR APPROACH
AeroMetrix provides an end-to-end technical service: project planning, controlled data capture, processing, quality assurance and usable deliverables for clients, designers and contractors.
01 / MAP DATA CAPTURE + PROCESSING
ORTHOMOSAIC / POINT CLOUDRTK
Site mapping and 3D modelling
WHEN IT HELPS
Do you have a property, construction site or terrain where existing drawings and individual photographs no longer show current conditions?
We capture the complete site from the air and process the imagery into a detailed orthomosaic. Where required, we also create a digital 3D model suitable for measurements and engineering review.
WHAT YOU RECEIVEAn up-to-date base dataset for planning, measurement, design and documentation, delivered as one organised package.
ORTHOMOSAIC3D MODELAREA MEASUREMENTSDXF · KMZ · PDF
Do you need to determine how much material has been delivered, excavated, moved or remains on site?
We survey the current surface and calculate the volume of each stockpile or the difference between two surfaces — for example, before and after excavation.
WHAT YOU RECEIVEYou receive volumes in cubic metres, an annotated plan and a traceable record to support reporting, payment certification or dispute review.
Do you need to verify what has actually been completed and report progress to a client, partner or asset owner?
We capture the site periodically using the same survey plan, allowing each dataset to be compared with the previous one instead of relying on unstructured mobile-phone photographs.
WHAT YOU RECEIVEA clear visual record, stage-by-stage comparison and selected imagery for reports, records, meetings and remote site monitoring.
DATE-BASED COMPARISON360° SITE RECORD3D BY STAGEPDF
Is there a hard-to-reach or hazardous area that needs an initial assessment before arranging scaffolding, a mobile platform or repair works?
We carry out systematic capture using detailed RGB and 360° imagery. The files are organised and locations requiring on-site verification are clearly identified.
WHAT YOU RECEIVEA complete overview and close-up details that help contractors locate the area concerned and plan the next inspection efficiently.
Roads, streets, utilities and linear infrastructure
WHEN IT HELPS
Are you working across kilometres of road, canal, embankment or utility corridor without an up-to-date overview of the complete site?
We survey the corridor along a planned route and combine the individual sections into a continuous orthomosaic and digital model.
WHAT YOU RECEIVEYou can review the entire corridor in one dataset, identify areas of concern and provide consistent information to the client, designer and contractor.
Do you have CSV, TXT, DXF, KML, imagery or point-cloud data, but no clean and organised deliverable for the site or your client?
We validate, clean, transform and organise the data. We prepare tables, setting-out files, maps and outputs for CAD, GIS, Google Earth or field controllers.
WHAT YOU RECEIVEA ready-to-use package with consistent file names, verifiable values and a concise explanation of how each deliverable should be used.
A visual inspection records observable conditions and does not replace a structural assessment. Where a deliverable requires statutory professional competence or formal sign-off, the work and certification are arranged with an appropriately authorised professional.
02 / THERMOGRAPHY
Surface temperature reveals where to inspect next.
We offer aerial thermographic surveys for buildings, photovoltaic systems and external electrical and industrial assets. Every assignment is confirmed after reviewing the site conditions, required scope and applicable requirements.
T01
Buildings and façades
Cold interiors, high energy use or suspected gaps in insulation?
We identify unusual hot and cold patterns across external surfaces that may indicate thermal bridging, air leakage or an area requiring targeted inspection.
T02
Roofs
Do you suspect a problem area but want to avoid beginning the inspection by accessing the roof?
We combine thermal and visible imagery to locate temperature anomalies associated with damaged insulation or possible moisture retention.
T03
Solar PV plants and rooftop systems
Is output lower than expected, or is manual inspection of hundreds of modules too time-consuming?
We survey modules under operating conditions and identify panels or rows with abnormal heat patterns, directing the maintenance team to the relevant location.
T04
Electrical assets
Could overheating connections or components remain undetected until a failure occurs?
Where authorised and safe access is available, we identify temperature deviations across external electrical assets and organise them by location and priority for on-site inspection.
T05
District-heating networks and pipelines
Is there suspected heat loss, leakage or damaged insulation, but no confirmed location?
Where a suitable temperature differential exists, we map surface anomalies along the route and narrow down the area for follow-up technical inspection.
T06
Industrial sites and equipment
Are you looking for overheating or unusually cold areas across external machinery, pipes, tanks or process zones?
We provide repeatable thermal surveys and time-based comparison to support preventive-maintenance planning and targeted inspection by a specialist.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
A structured basis for targeted inspection.
Paired thermal and RGB images of the same location
An anomaly map or register with precise locations
A concise report prioritising on-site checks
The option to repeat the survey after remedial works
SPECIAL APPLICATIONS / SUBJECT TO REVIEW
Locating residual hot spots across storage areas, stockpiles or waste facilities, including post-incident situational surveys undertaken in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Thermography is a screening method based on surface temperature differences. On its own, it does not confirm moisture ingress, leakage, an electrical fault or the cause of an anomaly. Results depend on weather, solar loading, wind, operating load and surface material. Final diagnosis, energy assessment and remedial works must be undertaken by the relevant qualified professional.
READY FOR REVIEW
Turn the requirement into a clear scope.
Send the site details for a technical review, or use the estimator first if the scope is still being defined.
